WOW. This has been an amazing week. Honestly, we still can’t believe it, but the TODAY Show segment aired on Thursday, May 4, 2023, on Hoda Kotb’s streaming show, “The Morning Boost.” We are so happy with how this turned out – and couldn’t be more excited to share our book-joy with all of you.
In case you missed it, the piece is here!
AND, to make this week even more special, our friends at #ThisIsTucson covered our big news as well (thank you, Elvia!) 🙂
Huge thanks to our lovely Tucson bookish community – your love of books is a big part of what keeps us going! We wouldn’t be here without you ❤ We’re just so grateful that we were offered the chance to showcase books, kindness, and our beloved Tucson to the world.
Onward to more bookish adventures!
Very nice program I have a couple of hundred books I can give you but I live in Green Valley. My name is Jim

Thank you so much for reaching out! We’re so excited to hear from folks who love sharing bookish joy!
Unfortunately, we do not have the bandwidth to handle the curation, storage, and distribution of used books. However, we love that you want to share your books! A lot of folks reach out to us with a similar question, and one thing that we recommend is that folks donate their gently used books to the Friends of the Pima County Public Library (who do monthly book sales to raise money for our local library branches), or distribute them to Little Free Libraries around town (they have a map of their locations all over southern Arizona on their website, and you might even find a new book to read in the process!). Thank you so much for your kind words about our work, and for helping to spread the joy of reading!

Yes I do routinely donate books to the Friends of the library. I’ve actually been in the business for about 40 years and now I do book appraisals for tax and insurance purposes. Maybe I will just start doing what you guys do and leave free books and different spots around Green Valley keep up the good work folks. It’s very gratifying to hear there are people like you out there
