Wowza! During this seventeenth Tome Giveaway (and our first giveaway of 2023!), I had a wonderful day hiding tomes all over Tucson. Throughout the day, I hid 30 copies of Winter’s Orbit by Everina Maxwell. This is an amazing sci-fi/space opera story full of political intrigue and a lovely (sometimes frustrating, LOL) romance. This was the perfect book to share this month as the characters definitely spend some time in a chilly and snowy setting (speaking of snow, did you all get some this month? I was so excited by the rare snowy day!). I digress. Some of the photos from my adventures last weekend are included below – and in the collage above.

As I mentioned in last month’s post, I have some exciting plans in the works for 2023 – one of which I announced this week! Starting this month, I’ll be hiding an additional 15 books of each month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson before the end of each month. I will not be posting any hint photos of these books – these books are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
