20th Tome Giveaway

Wowza! Happy National Poetry Month! During this twentieth Tome Giveaway, I had a wonderful day hiding tomes all over Tucson. I hid 30 copies of Someday the Plan of a Town by Todd Boss throughout the day – including 10 copies along downtown Tucson’s Haiku Hike!  We also had a guest tome gnome for part of our hiding adventure! This gnome would like to send a huge thanks to Tyler Meier, Executive Director at the UA Poetry Center, for sponsoring this month’s tome-hiding AND joining us to hide books along the Haiku Hike. We had a blast!

As a reminder, I am now hiding an additional 15 books of each month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson after the book-hiding weekend. I will not be posting any hint photos of these books – these books are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight! So keep your eyes peeled – you still might find a copy of this lovely tome around town!

Onward to May!

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you found a copy of Someday the Plan of a Town (or even if you didn’t!), you can join us at the Century Room (in the Hotel Congress) on May 21st for a poetry reading by Todd Boss and a conversation with composer Jake Runestad. Todd and Jake will be speaking about their process of working together to create their award-winning music (did you know their piece, “Earth Symphony,” won a 2022 EMMY in the category of musical composition?!?!). We hope to see you there!

And don’t forget – we’ll be hiding books again in a few weeks, so keep a lookout here, on Instagram, and on our Facebook page for updates. And our usual note applies: don’t forget to subscribe to the blog and follow me on social media to be the first to know about upcoming book giveaways!
