Friends! It’s 2022, can you believe it? Not only that, but the first month of 2022 is now over (what?!?!?). This holiday season was hectic… and since the gnome was still recovering from the holidays (but couldn’t let the first month of 2022 pass without giving a book away), the gnome decided to do another IG giveaway! January’s giveaway celebrated two authors who will soon be joining us for the Tucson Festival of Books!

Just like the giveaway in December 2021, it was so fun! Over 145 entries were received for the giveaway (twice as many as last time), and I’m excited to share that @meredithamadeephotography won two brand-new books and some other Tucson goodies. The books included “Hell of a Book” by Jason Mott and “Olga Dies Dreaming” by Xochitl Gonzalez.

The package also included some goodies from local Tucson businesses (shop local, friends!), including tea from the Maya Tea Company, stickers from Floras Market Run, a chocolate bar from Monsoon Chocolate, a bottle of hot sauce from Old Pueblo Poblano, and dulces enchilados from La Reina del Candy.
