Happy 57th book giveaway! We had an amazing time hiding 30 copies of An Oral History of Atlantis by Ed Park last Sunday. And we even got a surprise monsoon later in the afternoon (fingers crossed that all the books were found before the rain started – we were not prepared for rain this early in the season!).
If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book on book-hiding day, some of our amazing guest gnomes are hiding an additional 20 books (on top of the 30) around Tucson over the next few weeks. So keep your eyes peeled, as 20 more copies of An Oral History of Atlantis are being hidden around town! We do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
AND, we can’t forget to thank (and give a big shoutout!) to our May Community Kindness Sponsor, our friend Cynthia Bardo! We are so grateful to her for helping to offset the cost of the extra 20 books we hid this month ❤
This coming month (June), we’ll be celebrating Pride Month with one of our FAVORITE reads so far this year. So keep an eye out here, on Instagram, and on our Facebook page for updates on our next book-hiding adventure(s)!
