Happy 56th book giveaway! We had an amazing time hiding 30 copies of Girl Warrior by Joy Harjo last Sunday. If you are “poetry curious” but not yet ready to completely dive in, then this book is for you! It’s largely structured as short memoirs/reflections interspersed with poems – the perfect book for celebrating National Poetry Month!

If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book on book-hiding day, some of our amazing guest gnomes are hiding an additional 20 books (on top of the 30) around Tucson over the next few weeks. So keep your eyes peeled, as 20 more copies of Girl Warrior are being hidden around town! We do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
