Happy 55th book giveaway! We had an amazing time hiding 30 copies of Reservoir Bitches by Dahlia de la Cerda (translated by Julia Sanches and Heather Cleary) last Sunday. If you enjoy gritty books about empowered women (and you appreciate exploring works in translation from our southern neighbor!), then this read is for you! 🙂
If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book on book-hiding day, some of our amazing guest gnomes are hiding an additional 20 books (on top of the 30) around Tucson over the next few weeks. So keep your eyes peeled, as 20 more copies of Reservoir Bitches are being hidden around town! We do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
AND, we can’t forget to thank (and give a big shoutout!) to our March Community Kindness Sponsor, Tucson Hop Shop! We are so grateful to them for helping to offset the cost of the extra 20 books we hid this month. So visit the Hop Shop, enjoy their beautiful patio, drink some tasty beverages, and show them some love and gratitude ❤
This month (April!), we’ll be celebrating National Poetry Month and hiding a book that fits the theme… So keep an eye out here, on Instagram, and on our Facebook page for updates on our next book-hiding adventure(s)!
