Happy 45th book giveaway! I wanted to celebrate May with an alliterative book-hiding adventure (memoirs at murals in May), and I hid 30 copies of Poets Square by Courtney Gustafson. This gnome loved this book SO MUCH. You can read more about why we selected this book here.
If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book on book-hiding day, some of our amazing guest gnomes are hiding an additional 15 books (on top of the 30) around Tucson over the next few weeks. So keep your eyes peeled, as 15 more copies of Poets Square are being hidden around town! We do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
AND, we can’t forget to thank (and give a big shoutout!) to our May Community Kindness Sponsor, Cynthia Bardo. We are so grateful to her for helping to offset the cost of the extra 15 books we hid in May ❤
Like all of our book selections so far this year, June’s selection will be topical and appropriate for the changing times. It might also give us a sense of wanderlust for cooler climates during the onset of summer heat in Tucson. So keep an eye out here, on Instagram, and on our Facebook page for updates on our next book-hiding adventure!
