Happy 35th book giveaway! To celebrate summer in Tucson (oh, the heat…), last weekend I hid 30 copies of Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez. This book is a perfect summer read. Abby Jimenez has an amazing ability to write about serious topics in the context of a romantic comedy. She pulls it off beautifully. We hope you enjoyed spending some time with us on a super warm summer bookish scavenger hunt!

If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book last Sunday, some of our amazing guest gnomes (shoutout to Caitlin, Erika, and Cynthia!) will be hiding an additional 15 books of this month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson after the book-hiding weekend. So keep your eyes peeled over the next week or two, as 15 more copies of Just for the Summer will be hidden around town! I do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!

I have a special collaboration coming up this week with the Santa Cruz River Farmers Market—I’ll be hiding some books at the market on Thursday, August 8, at 4 p.m.! More on that soon.
