Folks, we’ve hit a milestone – our 30th book giveaway! To celebrate the month of love, we took a slightly different approach and hid a thematically heavy book, but it’s one that focuses on some really important topics of self-acceptance (and, in many ways, self-love), moments for reflection, and the importance and power of storytelling.

We were sponsored this month by our friends at Vantage West Credit Union, so please give them some love! We also celebrated our first (of five!) months of being supported with a “Downtown Tucson For Everyone” grant through the Downtown Tucson Partnership’s Social Justice Committee! This program awards grants to events and programs presented in Downtown Tucson that demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion – and reach underserved communities. Thank you to the Downtown Tucson Partnership and HSL Properties for sponsoring this program and supporting us. Between now and June, we’ll be hiding 10 books a month throughout downtown!

If you’re new here and didn’t get a chance to find a book last Sunday, I also hide an additional 15 books of each month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson after the book-hiding weekend. So keep your eyes peeled over the next week or two, as 15 more copies of A Woman is No Man will be hidden around town! I do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!

And don’t forget to check out the Tucson Festival of Books (March 9-10 on the UA Campus), where you’ll be able to meet Byron Lane (from our January book-hiding) and Etaf Rum (from last weekend’s book-hiding!) – let’s show our festival authors some love!
