Friends & Supporters –

We’re about halfway through the timeline for our 2024 Fundraising Campaign (we’re trying to wrap up by December 31… but we’ll see how things unfold!), and we wanted to take a moment to pause and send HUGE thanks to those of you who’ve already donated for helping the Tucson Tome Gnome continue to hide and share books in 2024!

As an update, a few weeks ago we received a very generous offline (outside of PayPal) anonymous donation, so we’ve been able to adjust our overall fundraising goal on PayPal from $10K down to $9K, as you can see in the screenshot of our PayPal campaign above. This means we’ve actually raised $3,660 towards our $10,000 overall goal. WOOHOO!

Words can’t express how grateful we are to all of you for stepping up and helping us. All of you (and your trust in us to share the joy of books and reading with our community!) mean the world to us.

If you haven’t yet donated, please consider doing so. Every little bit helps, and our fundraiser has been slowing down these past few weeks (in part, that’s because we haven’t wanted to bother you all with too many asks…). And, don’t forget that anyone who gives $100 or more to our fundraiser will be entered to win some pretty sweet bookish gifts from local businesses and partners. We still have a few to announce, but we have a basket of goodies and a gift certificate to Bookman’s, a set of books and a gift certificate to Mostly Books, and two sets of (rare! amazing!) items from the UA Poetry Center. We are so grateful to them for supporting our mission!
