***Before we dive into our post recapping last weekend’s exciting two-year anniversary book hiding, we wanted to share a reminder that we are fundraising for book-hiding and book-sharing in 2024! If you can help us, we would be so grateful for your support and donations! (and if you’ve already donated, thank you so much for supporting our work!!!)***
Now… onward to see some lovely photos from last weekend!

Friends, it officially felt like fall was in the air when we started hiding books this past Sunday morning. Does anything below 100F feel like fall in Tucson? Absolutely. Although, admittedly, this gnome is DESPERATE for some cozy/chilly sweater weather.
During this twenty-fifth (two-year tome gnome-iversary!) book giveaway, I had a wonderful day hiding tomes all over Tucson! I hid 30 copies of TJ Klune’s In the Lives of Puppets at 30 of my favorite places where I’ve hidden books over the past two years. These were signed books, all donated by the publisher (thank you, Tor!), and included special edition art prints that were produced when the book was released this spring ❤ So, some folks really found some amazing bundles!
For those of you who might be new here, I also hide an additional 15 books of each month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson after the book-hiding weekend. So keep your eyes peeled over the next week or two, as 15 more signed copies of In the Lives of Puppets will be hidden around town! I do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!
I’ll be partnering with the American Literary Translators Association to hide books again at the end of October, so keep a lookout here, on Instagram, and on our Facebook page for updates.
And my usual note applies: don’t forget to subscribe to the blog, follow me on social media, or make a donation to help us fund our work in 2024!!!
Here are some fun photos from my day of book hiding!
