Wowza! Is it fall yet? This gnome desperately wants it to be fall! I suppose today (I’m writing this on Friday, September 1) felt a little fall-like with some regular rain showers and the fact that it was under 100F! But yeah… I’m ready for crisp mornings and evenings. All the better for book-hiding days!

During this twenty-fourth Tome Giveaway, I had a wonderful day hiding tomes all over Tucson! I hid 30 copies of The Changeling by Victor LaValle at some of our favorite places around Tucson. We hope you all enjoy reading this one before watching it (it will be streaming on Apple TV starting September 8!).

For those of you who might be new here, I also hide an additional 15 books of each month’s selection (on top of the 30) around Tucson after the book-hiding weekend. So keep your eyes peeled over the next week or two! I do not post any hint photos of these books, as they are truly meant to be a random act of kindness for those who happen upon them. Yay for random bookish joy and delight!

It’s officially the first day of September, so I’m coming up on my two-year gnomiversary! (Hey, look at that – I just made up a new word!). Time flies when you’re having fun, apparently 🙂 Can you all believe this gnome has been hiding books for almost two years? I have some exciting things in the works to celebrate this milestone, so keep your eyes peeled !!!
